Vehicle Sharing Program RFP CQ9034/KB The Washington
Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (Metro) is soliciting Requests-for-Proposals
for a contractor or contractors to establish and operate in the Contractor's
name a Shared-Vehicle Operation at and near selected Metrorail
Stations approved by Metro. The contractor is expected to offer a share
of revenues to Metro. The Contractor shall select the Metrorail Stations
where it would like to locate the vehicles based upon a pre-defined
list of available stations from Metro. The Contractor shall organize
the business, procure necessary equipment, obtain all necessary licenses
and permits, and have a complete organization ready to begin service
at the start date of the Contract. The Contract
will be for a base period of one-year with a four one-year option period,
exercisable at the sole discretion of Metro. It is the intent that the
program will provide value, accessibility and convenience to customers,
